Research on tinnitus in the NET Tinnitus Project
 
On March 7th, 2002, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research announced funding for our five-year multi-site research project on the topic of "Understanding, Treating, and Preventing Tinnitus". Our group's research is conducted in independent labs, whose members collaborate and meet regularly to coordinate a multidisciplinary neuroscience-based approach toward understanding the problem of tinnitus, which may lead to the development of improved treatments. Our member labs' research agendas are outlined below:
